Vernissage: 28th of April 2011, Peter Bergman (Stockholm)
Lisa D. Manner is a Malmö-based artist, born in 1979. Her latest exhibition “Range Finding” is the second solo display of her work at Peter Bergman gallery. The owner of the gallery claims that with this exhibition Manner finds the frequency of the energy that we live, both through and within.

Johan Berggran, one of Manner´s former curator described her like this shortly after her graduation in 2008:
To change, you must know. And Manner knows – her cultural history as well as painterly. She has a poetic fantasy that may very well alter and refresh our way of seeing. Over the surface a myriad of thoughts and ideas explode. Through the floating, unpinned and boundary breaking modes of telling a story she creates a storyscape that is at the same time public and personal. With the freefloating tools of the dream, Manner shows us the complexities of existence from both a factual and psychological point of view.
With Lisa Manner’s unique style, her paintings have become noticed within the contemporary art field both in Sweden and abroad. All of the work was sold before the vernissage and the price ranged from 2000 to 8000 £
